First Malaysia’s Online Fashion Entrepreneurs Weekend
Frankly speaking, I didn’t plan to go to this event in the first place. Simple reason: I don’t buy any fashion related items via blogshops. So how the hell I managed to get myself ‘lost’ and went there with my sis and bro? We were sending the AIO printer to Canon Concept Store at MidValley for trade-in with a new AIO.
Since we have some free time, we decided to drop by at MOFEW and reached there before noon. I just love doing my shopping before the ‘non-morning’ crowd comes in, giving me ample space to move around and choose around…
It’s free admission (unlike the nearby exhibition that need to pay RM3 entry fee) and you will get a nice goodies bag upon registration. *points at the picture* ooohhhh…. Free express manicure voucher….
As I walked up to the registration counter, I saw a familiar face and waved enthusiastically. It’s Isaac Cheah aka Soon Seng! Gosh, he is one of my blogger friend and it’s been ages since we last met. I think was it at Mist Club during an event? XD Anyway, Isaac, who is one of the organizer (I called him Soon Seng.. >__< )is super kind and gave us a quick, personal tour of the exhibition area. Thanks alot Soon Seng!
The organizers cleverly arranged the booths layout that the sponsors booths will be at the front part of the exhibition area. Too bad it is fasting month, if not I’ve might treat myself with some Lecka Lecka. Organized by A&O Brandbuilding Consultants, there are more than 80 blogshop booths at the event. Talking about variety and choices.
At the KFC Snax booth, me and my sister registered ourselves and voila! Goodies bag for us! Thanks to KFC Snax, I got my very first tumbler (I’m such a sad case huh?). Now I can bring hot drinks to my room already… hehehehehe…
Now, I am quite a cheapskate. I didn’t plan to buy anything at first but how can I resist good and cheap stuffs? Thanks to Katherine Gan from mywalkingwardrobe.com, I managed to grab this top from her Clearance Sale box for only RM15!
Then I saw another cheap stuff from Tanks For 5… Tank Tops for RM5! I scoured the bin and snagged myself these two white tank tops.
Overall, I’m one of the satisfied patron of the exhibition. Does this change my perception on blogshops? Not really, I still prefer buying clothes offline where I can see and touch the material/fabric which means…. Start planning for the second MOFEW already you guys!!
Partially cheapskate shopper,
