What Is Your Dream?
This is one thing that set us apart from other species in this world…
That makes us… Human…
Since we were kids, we were often asked; ‘What is your dream?’ or ‘What do you want to be/want to do when you grow up?’
I’m sure kids could come up with answers such as astronauts, cowboys, actors or even a rockstar.
Me.. At one point between wanted to be a teacher and a pilot, I did dream of becoming one of National Geographic esteemed photographers.
So at the age of 9, I started to use my dad’s Yashica FX3, without his permission of course… Despite of getting my ass whooped a few times, I still sneak out the camera from his cabinet in his room. I wish one day some of my pictures will be published in the globally known magazine to mesmerize and captivate human hearts.
As we grew older, our dreams become more realistic and turned into ambitions. We (or our parents) began to shape our path towards a future as a doctor, lawyer or even a teacher.
I guess as parents they are trying their best to shield their offspring from the cruelty and reality of the outside world.
Sooner of later, these kids will grow up and be part of the rat race… Either move along or move up and don’t let other people eat your life away.
Whatever it is kids, just remember a few things….
Do you part in taking care of Mother Nature..
Don’t forget to stop and smell the flowers along the way…
Preserve your culture and never forget your heritage..
Last but not the least, don’t be surprised when an angel descend from Heaven and touched your live.
Live long & prosper as in the end you don’t want to be the lonely old man….
Or even disappeared and forgotten…
Author’s Note: I cooked up this post after sorting my 5years worth of digital pics and too awake after 4:30am… The main point of this post is to exhibit some of my favourite pics. Taken by me using my Lexa, Panasonic LX3… Hope you guys like them!
