How To Organize Your Books
By using Billy Bookcases!
When I moved back from Penang, I’ve decided that I would get a decent bookcase for all of my books rather than bits of here & there all over the room (or house). Frankly speaking, I never know how much books that I have in my humble collection until recently which is 232 books excluding magazines etc..
Coincidently, this year is Billy’s Bookcase 30th Anniversary and IKEA come out with a few limited edition Billy Bookcase designs. Sadly enough, I didn’t buy those designs (which is slightly priced higher than my budget) & opted for the tri-colour bookcases. So I get myself a red, blue & black Billy Bookcases and get IKEA to deliver it to my home.
I use the Billy Bookcase Red as a divider between the reading section and my bed. Don’t worry, I’m not a violent sleeper so I won’t kick the back of the bookcase while I’m sleeping…. *wink*
Then I use the Billy Bookcase Black as another divider between the reading section and my wardrobe. I have an Aneboda wardrobe back-to-back with the bookcase. You might asked where is the Billy Bookcase Blue right? Hehehehehe…. I’ll save that for another post.
OK, the rest of the photos are basically me prancing around the reading section…. Wahahahahahahahaha…..
Believe it or not….. When my mom saw this, she loves it so much that she wants my help to design the family mini library…
Bravo to the photographer, Abd Hadi that managed to survive my oven-ish room… Hahahahahaha

Daniel: I acquired most of the old books that I have now… Too bad for me I didn’t manage to get my grandparents book collection.. To me, books are valuable assets with infinite knowledge power. I did recycles most of my old magazines & newsletters though..
