The Day I Went To MDG Audition
It was a beautiful Saturday morning and I was excited about this day. This is the day I get the chance to cover the Malaysian Dreamgirl aka MDG audition in Penang.
I have to choose between riding all the way to Penang Island or do a park and ride. Heck, it’s such a beautiful day that I decided to choose the latter one. I parked my bike near the Butterworth jetty and walks towards the ferry terminal. I was running late that I almost did a quick step all the way to the ferry terminal.
Arriving at the Weld Quay, I catch a taxi ride which cost me RM10 for a mere 3km drive to Bayview Hotel, Georgetown… =____=
No wonder Malaysian taxi drivers are among the worst in the world.
Alright, from here you guys need to read my post on Malaysian Dreamgirl official blog. XD Find out what are the stuffs inside our press (….woohooo.. the word ‘press’ makes me all jittery) kit and what is the over-used phrase during the audition.
I bet you guys are dying to know any juicy gossips and hot news during the audition rite?!?!
Hehehehehe….. here is a quick one…
*blink* *blink*
*jaw drops*
*picks up jaw from the floor*
*blink* *blink*
All she have to do is just walked into the audition room and suddenly the whole room was filled with her radiance and glow. She just took the judges (ok… it’s just me then..) breath away. Wonder why she didn’t make it as one of the finalist to the close audition?!?! Hehehe…. You guys have to guess it… hihihihi…
Overall, this whole experience is really an eye-opener to someone like me that have no idea what’s it like to be in a show production (the only production I’ve seen is the manufacturing production.. =___=)
Personally, I like the new pink background. It looks fresh and girly, suitable with the show concept.
Suprise #3
Who is the host for MDG season 2!?!?
Hehehehehe… You guys have to stay tune and keep checking the Malaysian Dreamgirl official blog to find out who she/he is… XD
At the end of the audition, I said my goodbyes and thanks to MDG team and the judges (I got to see Elaine without her make-up…. *grin*). I head towards the bus stop, waiting for RapidPenang. After standing like almost 30mins, I decided to call the RapidPenang info centre to find out the location of any bus that is near to my bus stop. They said there is one on the way, near my bus stop. When I walk closer to the road, I can see it coming…

I wondered what kind of festival is this and later I found out it’s actually the annual Ratha Yathra (Chariot Festival).
This is one thing I love about Penang. Rich with it’s multi-racial cultural events.
