16th September 2008 Diary

Dear Diary….

Tuesday, 16th September 2008

Today is the day Malaysia celebrates its 45th year of its formation. It’s a date where most Malaysians tend to forgets as we have been celebrating Malaya’s Independence Day for 51 years. Please bear in mind, Malaysia did not exist until today, 45 years ago. So Malaysians, please don’t forget..

Enough about history… Today is Hiakz’s 19th birthday. HaPpY BiRtHdAy Hiakz!! and today is the day the new elected MP Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim is said to form his new government too… *sigh.. I hate politics..*

On my way to work this morning, a bloody idiot motorcyclist (motorcycle rider laaa) foolishly speeds up, pass by me in a narrow road. The road is so narrow that only 1 car can pass through at a time and it’s not even a one-way road.. Dangerous?? Yes.. Blame it on whomever plan, approved and build that road.

Obviously, the idiot is an idiot because he speeds up in a narrow road and he did not aware of his surroundings or anticipates any movements around him. Due to his failure to be alert while riding, the idiot runs over a dog… A full grown, adult dog who is trying to move away from his pack. I was about 100 meters behind him and I can see the whole situation. Poor doggy… It escaped with a bit of yelping and minor injuries.. The bloody idiot just rode off like nothing happens. Blame the dog?? HELL NO!!! If the idiot fell from his motorcycle, I would stop, take a few pictures, spat ‘Serve you right being careless’ right into his face and leave him there. This type of human being doesn’t deserve my sympathy and mercy. Lucky him, he didn’t fell off from his bike… I believe the saying, ‘What goes around, comes around’ (did I get it right??). One day, some day, his deed will pay off if it is not to him, it will be to his family…. *evil grin*

As I rode along the main road, as usual another motorcyclist come out from a junction and trying to cross over to the other side of the road.. WITHOUT SIGNAL… A good, long honking managed to save me and my bike from hitting that idiot….

Base on these 2 examples (and much, much more during my 4 years experience riding my motorcycle), no wonder motorcyclists have the highest accidents and death rates in Malaysia. Most of them are ignorant, fools or just plain idiot. How the hell did they manage to get their licenses anyway?? Just because you are small, it’s easier for you to maneuver and move around right?? Of course… But remember, because you are small, it’s easier for you to die too…

Ok…Ok.. Enough ranting.. Just need to get that out from my system. Back to work!
XD

Gosh, what a rash person that motorist is!!>(
Poor doggy….insensible and inconsiderate person….and you’re right, what goes around comes around!
I’ve had my share of these kind of incidents, and being a person who doesn’t like to honk, I am now forced to use the horn to avoid accidents with these irresponsible bikers…who doesn’t seem to care about anyone except for themselves!
Never did know why they’re in such a hurry anyway…but we know why they are always involved in accidents!

i had this lady motorcyclist who went on without stopping at traffic lights in front of sin ma shopping centre, kl. green light, i’m the 2nd car in line. 1st car took off and i followed and this stupid motor came from my right. bang straight into my right rear wheel. my car ok but the motorcyclist fell.

went down and scolded her and she dare to tell me it was green light for her. all the cars from her side stopped at the line but she dare to say that.

she went off since she was not hurt. didnt see how she fell. only her motor tyre mark on my wheel cover.

christy: my mom taught me not to honk so much (use high-beam instead). i tried that for the 1st 3 weeks riding in penang. it doesn’t work!! honking is the only way in penang i tell u..
johnny ong: lucky both of u r ok. if it was me, i would go straight to the police station. personally, i dun settle accidents on the road… i settle it at the police station… i believe it’s a good way to protect yourself.
