Woman Attacked In The Ferry

PENANG: A woman was attacked on the ferry while on her way to work on 15th Jan 2008 morning from Butterworth to Pulau Tikus, Penang.

Known as DiEsE, co-author of BaYnN.com and amateur photojournalist was attacked around 9.15am by a 40 years old Indian man on the ferry from Butterworth to Penang Island. The perpetrator dismount from his motorcycle, forcefully grabbed her camera which is in her right hand and hurling abusive words and threats in the full view of public. Calmly she tried to explain to the perpetrator on the situation but with no avail. She continuously receiving abusive and threatening words from the perpetrator at the jetty’s traffic light despite of all her effort to explain the situation and calm the perpetrator.
