A snapshot from my night market aka ‘pasar malam’ trip yesterday..
Approched a stall selling lotsa fish, prawns and etc. etc.
Scan all the choices, picked a Japanese threadfin Bream aka ‘ikan kerisi’ and put it in the basket.
Me: ‘Bang, nah ikan’ (Sir, here’s the fish)
Fish guy: ‘Apa!? sekor aje? (What!? just 1 fish)
